A widely used oil for soap making, Organic Extra Virgin Olive Oil is high in oleic fatty acid, contributing moisture and conditioning properties to your soap and skin care products. Extra virgin olive oil is made exclusively from the first pressing of fresh olives.
Extra virgin olive oil is often preferred over pomace olive oil, which is solvent extracted from the last pressings of seeds and skins. Pomace olive oil saponifies differently and can cause unwanted saponification of your additional soap ingredients, such as essential and superfatting oils.
